Even though she is free now she has not had such a happy ending. Roxie had surgery in December of 2008 to remove some mammary tumors. She was a little overweight so all of her glands could not be removed at that time. Roxie just recently had her 3 month follow up and we discovered that she has 2 little tumors starting to grow in those glands. We're going to monitor her a little longer and if they start to grow she will again need to have surgery to remove them. </p><p>Her little jaw bone is very thin and deteriorating. Eventually she will need some surgery on that as well. </p><p>Roxie is a happy go lucky little girl who is very much loved by anyone who meets her.
